Help For Christians

We all have times when things seem to be going downhill rather quickly and we've lost our brakes. We sometimes call them "a bad day" or "a day gone bad". We need to recognize what's behind the scene. Satan likes to "beat us up"! Christians and non-believers alike. Can you see that when things are going well, we don't usually reflect on the cause of it. We just enjoy the moment. We seldom give God the Glory for it. However, when things go wrong, we look to place blame and escape. Satan comes along and tries to cloud our mind with things of the world to disguise our discontentment. He plain out ROBS us of LIFE, but more importantly, he tries to rob us of ever having an eternal life with Christ. Satan is working to make us think on the things that will get us out of situations, such as alcohol, drugs, bad language, improper jokes, sexual misconduct, envy, pride, lies, and such things that keep us from enjoying life, but more importantly, robs us of ever having a personal relationship and eternal life with Christ. When we confess Jesus as Lord and Savior, we place our trust in Jesus to help us through any of life's uncertainties. When we come to the knowledge of, and accept what Jesus did for us on the cross, (took our place for sins consequences), that is He died, (paid the toll), rose again, (conquered death), and sits in Heaven waiting to hear from us, Satan is enraged and goes about trying to deceive us to steal away our joy and eternal life. Jesus said in John 15:11 "These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full." Listen to what Jesus says about His followers in John 27-29 "27-My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28-And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 28-My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand." Did you understand that friend? Nothing, no thing, no one is able to take them out of both the hand of the Father who created you, or Jesus who provided for you! Amen! What a precious truth and security for us.

With that in mind, I've taken the time to list out a few categories that we as Christians seem to have trouble with, then added accompanying scriptures to "Help" you keep the "Joy" Jesus wants us all to experience with Him. These scriptures are taken from the King James Version. May God grant you the peace and joy everyday as we reflect on Him and His Gift to Man.
