Statement Number One: We believe in one God manifested in three Persons; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We do not worship three gods but rather one true God in Three persons manifested. (Col. 1:12-17, Gen. 1:26, Gen. 1:2, John 17:5) Statement Number Two: We believe that God is all powerful all knowing everywhere present, and eternal. God is sovereign, this meaning that He bears the rule of all, that He is in total and complete control of all, at all times. He is indeed the Lord of lords and the King of kings. We believe He has an eternal plan and that it is unwavering. He cannot by His own word act in any way contrary to His nature, His attributes nor His word. He is faithful in all things at all times. (Matt. 19:26, Psalms 139:1-16, Heb. 13:8, John 8:58, Psalms 10:16, 1 Tim. 6:15, Rev. 19:16, 1 Thess. 5:24, Rev. 1:5) Statement Number Three: We believe that Jesus Christ is God the Son. He holds the same nature, attributes, power and position as God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. He is the fullness of the Godhead bodily, He is the creator of all and all things were created by Him and for Him. We believe that Jesus Christ was manifest in the flesh through the virgin birth, that He is both man and God. He is the only Savior of humankind, and this only by His death, burial and resurrection. We believe that He is the ONLY Savior and ONLY salvation for all. (John 1:1-3, Philp. 2:5-11, Col. 1:14-17, 2 Tim. 3:16, John 1:14, Matt. 1:23, John 14:6, Acts 4:12, 1 Tim. 3:16) Statement Number Four: We believe that the Holy Spirit is God the Holy Spirit. He holds the same nature, attributes, power and position as God the Father and God the Son. The Holy Spirit is a person. He inspired those who received the revelations that became Scripture. He teaches and directs those who seek to understand the Scriptures. He was the power in the conception of the virgin birth of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit was present at the baptism and temptation of Christ. Jesus' ministry was performed by the power of the Holy Spirit. He was involved in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. The Holy Spirit came upon the church at the day of Pentecost as promised by Christ. He is the regenerating power of salvation and the redemptive guarantee of eternal life. Those who have accepted Christ as Savior receive the Holy Spirit. (2 Tim. 3:16, 2 Pet. 1:21, John 14:26, John 16:13, Matt. 3:16, Matt. 4:1, Mark 1:12, Luke 4:14-21, Heb. 9:14, Rom. 1:4, John 14:16-18, Acts 2:1, John 3:5, Titus 3:5) Statement Number Five: We believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit such as; tongues, interpretation of tongues, prophecy, healing by the laying on of hands, performing of miracles and the giving of words of knowledge were temporary gifts to speed the spreading of the Gospel in the early church and are not useful nor necessary in the ministry today. We believe according to scripture that these gifts ceased or were discontinued by the Holy Spirit after the completion of Scripture. We do not hold to nor endorse charismatic or pentecostal doctrine in regards to the gifts of the Holy Spirit. (I Cor. 12, I Cor. 13) The Holy Scriptures: The Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God. The Bible is infallible, without error. The Bible does not merely contain the Word of God but rather is the written Word of God. The Bible alone is the sufficient and only authority for doctrine, reproof correction and instruction. We believe the Bible is only spiritually discerned and that the unsaved person cannot understand the Scriptures. One must first accept Jesus Christ as Savior thereby receiving the Holy Spirit which teaches or illuminates the Scripture. (2 Tim. 3:16-17, 2 Pet. 1:20-21, 1 Cor. 2:14) Statement Number Six: We believe in the total depravity of mankind. We believe that every person is born with a sinful nature and is therefore born into the world in a lost condition. There is none righteous there is none that understand God, we are all gone out of the way and together become unprofitable. In our flesh there dwells no good thing, and all of our righteousness is as filthy rags. We believe in the free will of mankind, that every person has to choose to reject or to accept Jesus Christ. Our free will also makes us responsible, for each choice between right and wrong, good and evil, faith or works, grace or law. Our free will is allowed by the sovereignty of God. There is only one penalty for sin and the nature of sin and that penalty is death both physical and spiritual. (Rom. 3:10-23, Psalms 51:5, Rom. 7:18, Is. 64:6, John 3:36, Rom. ll:6, Rom. 6:23, Heb.9:27) Statement Number Seven: We believe in the eternal salvation of any and all who place sole trust in the finished redemptive work of Jesus Christ. We believe that we are saved by grace through faith, that it is not of ourselves nor by our good behavior or works, but it is a gift of God. We believe the physical and bodily death of Jesus Christ on the cross was a substitutionary sacrifice to pay God the Father. The debt owed for all sin and not only sin but the very nature of sin itself. We believe that the debt was paid in full and that it was completed by Christ on the cross aside from any effort or help on our part, and that we are redeemed fully by this payment. We believe in the physical and bodily burial of Jesus Christ, that in this burial He removed all that could hinder or prevent one who has received Him by faith from entering into eternal life in heaven. We believe in the physical and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ, that in His resurrection we who believe in Him are justified freely and by this justification have peace with God. We believe in the physical and bodily ascension of Jesus Christ to the right hand of God the Father where He is now our continual advocate making intercession for the saints. We believe in the physical and bodily return of Jesus Christ to receive unto Himself all who have place their faith and trust in His finished work of salvation and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Again, we believe that salvation is only by grace through faith, it is Christ and Christ alone who holds the power to save and to keep all those who receive Him by faith. (Romans 3:10-23, Romans 6:23, Romans 5:8, Romans 10:9, John 3:16, 1 John 5:12, Eph. 2:8-9, Romans 5:1, Romans 8:1, Titus 3:5-7, 1 Thes. 4:14-18, Romans 11:6) Statement Number Eight: We believe in the eternal security of the born again believer. We believe and affirm that it is impossible for one having received salvation though faith in Christ to lose that salvation or to have salvation removed by God, any person, power, principality or even by one's own self. We believe that whatsoever God does is forever and nothing can be added to it nor anything taken from it. We believe that our eternal security rests only on the faithfulness of God and on nothing else. (John 3:16, 1 John 5:12, Eccl. 3:14, Romans 8:28- 39, 1 Thess. 5:24, 1 Cor. 1:8-9) Statement Number Nine: We believe the church is a called out body of believers. The local church is a body of believers with citizenship in a local area. It is through the local church that Jesus Christ fulfills His great commission. His command was for His church to preach the Gospel (make disciples) to baptize them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, to teach them to observe all things he had commanded. We believe that the Bible believing local church has the God given authority and responsibility to fulfill this commission. We believe each and every ministry should be authorized and sanctioned by and through the local church. Jesus Christ being the head of the church. We believe every born again believer is part of the universal church, that this universal church constitutes the bride of Christ. It consists of all who have ever placed their trust in Christ for salvation. Baptism is a picture or symbol of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and our relationship to that redemptive work. It in no way has any part in our salvation. The Lord's Supper is a picture or symbol of the blood Christ shed for our redemption and of the body that was broken for our salvation. It is for our remembrance of how we are saved and is in no way part of or involved in our salvation. It is the church's main purpose to lead the lost to a saving knowledge of Christ, edify the believers, equip the believers for service, to edify one another, to glorify and worship Jesus Christ. (Matt. 28:18-20, Acts 1:8, 1 Cor. 1:2, Col. 1:24, Rev. 1:4, Eph. 4:11-13) Statement Number Ten: We believe in the eminent pre-tribulation and pre-millennial return of Jesus Christ to receive into glory all those living and dead who have received salvation by faith in the finished work of Christ. (1 Thess. 4:14-18, Rev. 4:1, 1 Cor. 15:51-53, John 14:3, Rom. 8:1, 1 Cor. 1:8)

We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and a woman. We believe that any form of homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, bestiality, incest, fornication, adultery, and pornography are sinful perversions of God's gift of sex. We believe that God disapproves of and forbids any attempt to alter one's gender by surgery or appearance. Gen. 2:24; Gen. 19:5, 13; Gen. 26:8-9; Lev. 18:1-30; Romans 1:26-29; 1 Cor. 5:1; 1 Cor. 6:9; 1 Thess. 4:1-8; Heb.13:4.
We believe that the only legitimate marriage is the joining if one man and one woman. Gen. 2:24; Romans 7:2; 1 Cor. 7:10; Eph. 5:22-23.
In addition, any couples seeking to marry must go through marital counseling of at least 3 sessions of 2 hours each, preferably by a local church Pastor or Chaplain, with approved Marital Counseling materials, Biblically based, before entering matrimony. It is only after the final session that the Pastor/Chaplain will make the decision to marry and is his sole discretion to either agree to marry them, or not to marry them based on answers they make during the sessions.
The statement of faith does not exhaust the extent of our faith.The Bible itself is the sole and final source of all that we believe. We do believe, however, that the foregoing statement of faith accurately represents the teaching of the Bible, and therefore, is binding upon all members.
